One-Eyed Jack’s social club offers southern Madison County premiere entertainment at an affordable price
The social scene in Berea and southern Madison County has had a difficult time recovering since covid. That’s according to two local entrepreneurs who have created a social club to address this gap.
“We saw a void in this community and in the county for entertainment and social events,” said Camron Franklin, who along with Aaron Hamilton, operate One-Eyed Jack’s, a membership social club at 107 Clay Drive, parallel to Richmond Road and next to Dad’s Flooring.
One-Eyed Jack’s is a comfortable place with a relaxed atmosphere, where individuals, couples, and groups of friends all age 21 years or older, can enjoy a range of activities including darts, pool, corn hole, virtual golf, mini-hoops, and even a hand of poker.
Nightly memberships are $10, and include all the soda you can drink, access to streaming and Pay-per-view sporting events shown on 30 big screen TVs, and the use of all recreational equipment and games. Or, pay $25 a week for access between 5 PM and 12 AM, 5 days a week. A monthly membership is $60, and yearly is $300.
One-Eyed Jack’s does not have a liquor license, but because it is a social club, members are welcome to BYOB. Restaurant-grade coolers and individual lockers are available at no charge to members for their beverage’s safekeeping. No open containers are allowed to leave the premises.
Soon, the kitchen will be open and will serve burgers, wings, and pizza.
Through ticket purchases, the club offers members special events like live comedy, live music, and more. Events are already scheduled through September.
“We’re less expensive than a country club, and we have all these amenities and features you can come and enjoy. It’s an incredible value for your ten dollars,” Franklin said.
